I’ve been teaching IB History for the past 8 years, working with both SL and HL students online. I enjoy helping students make sense of difficult historical debates rather than memorising facts. A lot of my lessons focus on source analysis, essay planning and Internal Assessment support. Several of my students have gone on to achieve 6s and 7s in their final exams.

Hi! I'm a history tutor who genuinely enjoys discussing the stories behind major world events. I mainly work with IB students who need help organising essays or preparing for Paper 2 and Paper 3. I like keeping lessons conversational, so students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging different historical interpretations.

My background is in modern European history, and I have spent over a decade tutoring IB students from different countries. I also guide students through the History IA, from selecting a focused research question to refining their final analysis. My lessons are carefully planned but always adapted to the student's pace and academic goals.

History was always my favourite subject because every topic connects to another. I’ve been tutoring IB History for around 5 years and especially enjoy Cold War and authoritarian states. If essays feel overwhelming, we break them into smaller steps and practise until writing becomes much more natural and manageable.

I specialise exclusively in IB History and have supported students through every part of the course, including exam technique and Internal Assessments. My academic background includes historical research, which helps when teaching source evaluation and historiography. I aim to make complex historical arguments accessible without oversimplifying the content.

Most of my students come to me because they struggle to turn what they know into strong essays. We spend time comparing historians' views, building arguments and practising timed responses instead of simply reading notes. I’ve worked with IB learners for several years and really enjoy seeing their writing become clearer with practice.
